MY TESTIMONY – GOD AND I’S STORY

I grew up in a Christian home and carried the label of being a Christian, but I never truly had a relationship with God, and I was not living for Him. Before giving my life to Christ, I dealt with bullying growing up. Eventually it got worse in high school and that led to depression, suicidal thinking, and self-esteem issues. It caused me to stop caring about life and to push everyone away. I was desperately trying so hard to gain other people’s approval of me and seeking my worth from this broken world.  

I was always so inspired when I saw my mom worshipping Jesus, praying, and reading God’s word, but I did not think I was capable to do that. Near the end of my junior year of high school, the Lord revealed Himself to me. It occurred to me, after all that God has done for me, why do I not have a relationship with Him. He helped me through bullying and the hardest seasons of my life. Most importantly, He sent His Son to die for me, just as He has done for you too. I knew I wanted a relationship with Jesus, so from April 2020, I gave myself to Christ and committed my life to Him. 

THE GOOD NEWS OF THE GOSPEL
