THREE THINGS THE LORD HAS BEEN TEACHING ME THIS SEASON:

Hey friends! I feel like it has been a while and a lot has happened in my life. I just started college this year and it has been a super crazy season. Buttt – I would love to share with you guys three things that the Lord has been teaching me in this season and being open and vulnerable ♡.

TRUST

I know strongly in this season, God has been teaching me to trust Him. I have struggled so much recently with worrying and not trusting in God and the plan that He has for my life. I have learned that obsessively worrying means God does not got this. Worrying means God is not big enough to do this – which by the way convicted me and is still convicting me. But our God does got this! He always makes a way and keeps strongly on to His beautiful promises. I have noticed each time when I worried about something in the past, God took care of it. He is always watching over us. I pray for me and you to remember that we are safe in His arms and that we trust Him and ask Him to help us. The same God who kept His covenant with Abraham to make him into a great nation and bless him, (Genesis 12:1-3 ♡) is the same God today.

NEVER ALONE

As a new student in college, loneliness has been a big struggle for me and I know other people struggle with it too. I know that God is teaching me that I am never alone, and you are never alone too. God is right beside us every step of the way. This reminds me of near the end of Matthew when Jesus told His disciples to go make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19 ♡) and at the very end, He said, “And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:20. What a great reminder knowing that Jesus stays the same (Hebrews 13:8 ♡) and that He is always with us.

“… for He himself has said, I will never leave you or abandon you.” – Hebrews 13:5 ♡

THE GOSPEL

Even though I started devoting my life to Christ for a long time now, I feel like recently I have been learning the true meaning of the Gospel and what Jesus did for us. I know God has been reminding me and teaching me of His good news. You and I are sinners (Read Romans 3:23 ♡) and we lost without God. But God loved us so much that He sacrificed His Son Jesus to die for our sins and save us from our sins so we would have eternal life and a relationship with Him (John 3:16 ♡). So, we do not experience death (spiritual death) and separation from God. Even knowing we would still sin, Jesus still died and that is true love (Romans 5:8 ♡).

” For rarely will someone die for a just person- though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But God proved His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:7-8 ♡

Those are the top three things that the Lord has been teaching me and is continuing to teach me every single day. I am not perfect, but God is! I love you guys but God loves you even more!! ♡
